4 Introduction

• RJ-45 UTP Port - Connects to 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX network.
NOTE: SNMP Module supports 10Mbps only.
• LEDs - Provide the following information:
Activity - ON = Indicates transmission and receiving of data.
Link - ON = Indicates valid network connection.
OFF= Indicates no network connection/link.
If there is no link (LED is OFF):
- Make sure power is ON at both ends of the network connection.
- Make sure cable is properly wired and connected on both ends of the network
connection.
- Verify that correct cable type is used (CAT3 or CAT5).
