Configuring Device and Chassis Settings
NOTES: The InfoStation is factory-set for dual channel configuration.
Some InfoMon changes will only take effect after an InfoStation power OFF &
ON.
Refer to the InfoMon User's Guide for further information.
If necessary, use InfoMon to change any factory default device or chassis settings.
For example, the InfoStation is factory-set for dual channel configuration. To change the
configuration to single-channel, open the "Tasks" dropdown menu (from the InfoMon.exe
window as shown in Figure 6) to set the number of drive channels, as well as all other chassis
settings.
Once the desired configuration is achieved, cycle the InfoStation chassis power (by turning
OFF, then back ON) for changes to take effect.
