Secure the board to the receiving frame stand-offs with the same two (2) screws saved
from Step 2 above.

Remove screws (save these

screws for Step 2) and replace

with stand-offs (provided)

Carefully install repeater board.

Secure with the same screws

saved from Step 1.

Attaching the Repeater Board

The DE300i-SW160, S20A120, and S20A133 may be purchased with the Repeater Board
factory-installed. If the board has not already been attached to the receiving frame, follow
the instructions below to add the board.

NOTE:

The device carriers should be locked into the receiving frame prior to the
following procedure to maintain proper connector alignment between the
receiving frame and device carriers.

1.

Remove the two (2) screws from the receiving frame motherboard and set aside (Step
1 of Figure 3A).

2.

Attach the two (2) stand-offs (provided) to the mounting holes on the receiving frame
motherboard (Step 1 of Figure 3A).

3.

Carefully align the three connectors of the repeater board with the connectors on the
receiving frame motherboard and gently push the board into position. Make certain
that ALL connectors are properly mated (Step 2 of Figure 3A).

CAUTION:

Make sure JP1 Pins on Repeater Board (Figure 3B) are lined up with
the Receiving Motherboard connector before pushing the Repeater
Board into position! Failure to line up pins properly can result in bent
or damaged pins!

Assembling the Repeater Board

The S20A130 Repeater Board is shipped with the 4-drop cable uninstalled. The cable must
be installed onto the Repeater Board before use.

1.

Line up the connectors on the 4-drop cable with the connectors on the Repeater Board
(Step 1 of Figure 2). The Pin 1 indicator on the cable must be properly aligned.

2.

Carefully mate all four (4) connectors on the cable with their respective connectors on
the Repeater Board (Step 2 of Figure 2).
