2. Locate your Diagnostic Link Connector (DLC)
OBD-II port. The OBD-II port is required to be
within 3 feet of the driver and must not require
any special tools to reveal. Typically the OBD
II DLC is located in the driver side footwell of
the vehicle. Refer to your owners manual to
find the location of your OBD-II port.
3. The LPE DLC port cover (part # L450110095)
has a notch on one side of the snap groove as
indicated. LPE recommends that the lanyard
be wrapped around the DLC wiring harness.
If the DLC wiring harness cannot be reached,
wrap the lanyard around another secure loca-
tion.
4. Wrap the end of the LPE DLC port cover lan-
yard around the DLC wiring harness (located
behind the DLC) as indicated. Snap the cover
over the DLC port as shown.
