Cooler Problem Solver
Systems having add on air conditioning fitted
PROBLEM WHAT TO DO
1. Cooler doesn’t come on.
Clock not on. * Check that power is switched on.
2. Cooler doesn’t come on.
Clock is on * Check that “ON OFF” switch is on.
* Check that “COOL” switch is on
(indicator light is NOT on.)
* Check that “AUTO-MANUAL” switch is
on “MANUAL”.
* Turn thermostat down.
* Check that thermostat sensor is not
exposed to another cool source.
3. Cooler doesn’t come on when
unit is on “Automatic program. * Check that “COOL” switch is on
(indicator light is NOT on.)
* Check that unit is on “AUTO”
* Turn thermostat down.
* Check that “AUTO-TIME-1” or “AUTO-
TIME-2” button is on.
* Check that the cooler is programmed to
be on at this time (slide the program
selector across the four “TIME-1” and
“TIME-2” on and off positions to check).
NOTE: if either of the “AUTO TIME”
buttons is switched off and on again
within a programmed cooling period, the
