THEORY OF OPERATION

This unK Is a portable aircieanof employing one tfwmialty pro
tected, high portofmance motor producing very high velocity

air flow through the unit. Rno soBd partlcutate material and
smoke may be removed from the air by the fitter media.

An

Initial spark trap collects large partides before they reach

tfw prefilter. This trap further Isolates the fitters from sparks
in the case of a welding operation.

Upon leaving the trap, the air Is passed through pre-fitters.

These pre-fitters are desigr^ to catch the larger partides

leaving the trap. These reiatfvety Inej^nslve pre-filters pre

vents the more eimensive main filter from becoming quickly

clogged. The pro-niters may be changed several times before
the main fitter needs to be changed.
