ARCHITECT'S AND ENGINEER'S SPECIFICATIONS

The monitor/playback speaker system shall be of the two-way type and shall consist of a 15" low-
frequency loudspeaker, a compression driver mounted to a high-frequency sectoral horn, and a 500

Hz, 16-ohm dividing network. The system shall meet the following criteria. Power rating, 50 watts
pink noise. Frequency response, from 35 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Impedance, 16 ohms. Pressure sensitiv
ity, 97 dB SPL when measured at 4' on axis with 1 watt input of pink noise from 500 Hz to 3000 Hz.
Distribution pattern, 90° horizontal by 60° vertical. Crossover network, 500 Hz with 12 dB/octave
slope with shelving control variable from 0 dB to —6 dB in 1.5 dB steps. The enclosure shall be con

structed of ^4" material, heavily braced internally and lined with acoustic damping material. Finish

shall be gray lacquer. Dimensions, 28" H x 40" W x 24V2" D. Weight, 130 pounds.

The monitor/playback speaker system shall be the ALTEC Model 9845A.
