Lifting the fuel tank (fig. 39)
Warning
Make sure the fuel in the tank is less than 5 litres or
fuel may leak out through the filler plug breather.
Remove the seat (page 28) and lift the hook (1).
Lift the tank and unhook the service rod (2, fig. 40) from
its seat under the seat. Place the tank onto the rod.
When you have finished, reverse the above procedure to
refit.
Warning
When lowering the tank, make sure lines are
properly routed to avoid squeezing.
