B&K Limited Warranty
B&K Components, Ltd. (Warrantor) warrants your B&K equipment against all defects
in material and workmanship for a period of three years from date of purchase. This
warranty applies oniy to the original consumer purchaser and only to equipment used
in normal residential use and service. Defective units will be either repaired or replaced
(at the discretion of B&K Components, Ltd.) upon its being returned to the Warrantor at
1971 Abbott Rd., Buffalo, N.Y. 14218, postage prepaid, with a payment to cover the costs
of return postage and handling.
This warranty shall not apply to any equipment which is found to have been
improperly installed, fused, set-up, or used in any way not in accordance with
instructions supplied with the equipment, or to have been modified, repaired or
altered in any way without the expressed written consent of B&K Components, Ltd.
No implied warranty on this unit, created by state law, shall extend beyond the term
of this warranty, and B&K Components, Ltd. shall not be liable for any incidental or
consequential damages in the event of any defect in material or workmanship of the
unit during the term of this warranty or thereafter. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions
may not apply to you.
No agent, representative, dealer or employee of the company has the authority to
increase or alter the obligations or terms of this warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state.
RETURN AUTHORIZATION: Please note that the return of any product to B&K
Components, Ltd. for the purpose of warranty repair, service or other reason requires a
Return Authorization (RA) to be issued by B&K Components, Ltd. prior to return
shipment. The RA may be requested by calling 1-800-543-5252 (NY: 716-822-8488)
between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM EST/EDT, Monday thru Friday. At that time, it will be
requested that you provide the following information:
1. Your name and address
2. The model and serial number
3. The reason for which the unit is to be returned
Once your RA has been issued, you will immediately be provided with an RA
number. We will then send an RA package to you by mail. Included in the RA package
will be instructions on how to return your unit, multiple copies of the RA and a
preprinted return shipping label to be attached to the unit.
