Your new Low Temperature
Glue Gun is designed to
apply special, lower melting ,
temperature (225®F) hot melt
adhesives. The lower
application temperature of
the adhesive will allow the
bonding of many heat
sensitive materials such as
polystyrene foam white
maintaining eicellent bond
strength. This feature
dramatically expands the'
versatility of your new gun for
gluing applications in a
countless variety of hobby
and cratt projects.
Your Low Temperature Glue
Gun can be used only with the
special ova! shaped Low
Temperature Giue sticks
designed specificaliy for this
gun. These are available in
standard and extended setting
time formulations.
For personal safety and for
proper operation of your glue
gun, please take the time to
carefully read all the safety
rules and instructions in this
booklet.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
When using electric tools, basic safety precautions should always
be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and persona! injury, including the following:

KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN. Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries.
CONSIDER WORK EMVIRONMEMT. Don’t expose power tools to rain. Don’t use
power tools in damp or wet locations. Keep work area well lit.
KEEP CHILDREN AWAY. All visitors should be kept away from work area. Do not let
visitors contact tool or extension cord.
STORE IDLE TOOLS. When not in use, tools should be stored in dry, high or locked-
up place - out of reach of children.
USE SAFETY GLASSES.
6. DON’T ABUSE CORD. Never carry or yank it to disconnect from receptacle. Keep cord
from heat, oil and sharp edges.
7. DON’T OVERREACH. Keep proper footing and balance. Do not use overhead.
8. DISCONNECT TOOLS. When not in use, before servicing and when changing
accessories.
9. This tool is recommended for indoor use only.
10. STAY ALERT. Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not operafe too!
Vv^hen you are tired.
11. DO NOT TOUCH THE HEATED NOZZLE
OF THE GLUE GUN OR THE HOT GLUE.
The operating temperature of this tool is 225" F.
12. Never attempt to use any other material than recommended adhesive, sealer, or caulk
sticks in the gun. Use ONLY oval shaped
low
temperature glue sticks. Mot for use with
crayons or candles.
13. Do not use hot melt glue to take the place of structurai fasteners.
14. The adhesive ivill soften above 132®F, Don’t use on objects subject i ..- temperaiures of
132°F or above.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE
THE
UNUSED
PORTION OF A GLUE STICK
FROM
THE
TOOL. F’^urge unused glue from gun through nozzle only. DO NOT remove
from rear of gun.
16. Never attempt to force cool the gun after use by immersing any part of it in water or any
other liquid. Allow gun to air cool only.
17. Supen/ise the use of this tool by children.
18. THE GLUE GUN IS ON AS SOON AS IT IS PLUGGED
IN.

WHENNOTINUSE,DONOTLEAVEGLUEGUN PLUGGEDINFOR AN EXTENDED
TIME. DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED.

; ALWAYS BE SURE THAT THE GLUE GUN IS COOL BEFORE STORING IT.

AVOID ACCIDENTAL GLUE DISCHARGE. Feeding or pushing adhesive stick with
too much force into a heated gun may cause hot adhesive to be unexpectedly expelled
from nozzle.
22. DO NOT store the giue gun in dire ct sunlight for extended periods.
MOTE: This too! will become quite warm during use. This is normal and do-ss not
indicate a problem.
