Snowthrowing Patterns
Use pattern in Fig. 5-1 when snow cannot
be thrown to one side. Begin throwing
snow closest to the side where it cannot
be thrown, angling discharge chute to
direct snow away from that side. When
turning unit around after each pass, crank
discharge chute as you proceed so snow
is thrown in proper direction.
Use pattern in Fig. 5-2 to throw snow on
both right and left sides. When turning
snowthrower, crank discharge chute as
necessary to throw snow in proper direc­
tion.
Discharge chute direction
stays the same except
when turning.
Snow is thrown to each
side.
