These

are
provided
with
an

dial,
covering the entire range of the control. The cover
has another dial graduated from 1 to 5. The selector
knob and this graduated dial are used to select a part
of the total range of the control.
Number

on
the
cover
dial
represents
the
lowest
temperature,
number

represents
the
highest

of
the
internal
dial
is visible from the outside of the control.
To select a range, proceed as follows:

Remove the selector knob by loosening the small
set screw in the end of the knob.
2.
Turn the adjusting shaft so that the minimum
desired

directly
under
the
cover
indicator.
For

if 32° is the minimum desired temperature, turn
the shaft to set the dial as shown here.
3.
Without
moving the adjusting
shaft, replace the
selector
knob,
pointing
it
to
number
5
on
the
cover dial.
