procedure.
Defective Main Stator
Measure stator resistance (G1 TO N & G3 TO N ).
Check for ground
shorts. Replace if defective.
Short in AC Wiring.
Turn off all circuit breakers for the lights and disconnect all external
loads. Check all the AC wiring in the control cabinet for shorts. Repair
or replace as required.

on each leg should be as evenly balanced as possible and should not
exceed the rated current on any leg.
Shorted Turns in Either the
Measure rotor and stator resistance for shorted turns.
Rotor or Stator
Replace if defective.
GENERATOR NOISY AND/OR VIBRATES
Loose Sheet Metal
Check nuts, bolts and doors for tightness.
Rotor Rubbing
Repair or replace defective part.
Bearing Defective
Replace bearing.
Rotor Unbalanced
Rotors are factory spin balanced on special computer controlled ma-
