13. Locate the engine control description label just to the left of the engine
control. A new label has been provided with this kit, paste it over the existing
label.

Remove the operators manual part number 60706-166 for model
PSS8B4W from the literature package and replace it with operators manual part
number 60706-164 for Model PSS8B2W . This manual contains the proper
information for installation and operation of a 2-wire auto start system. The
customer must have this manual in order to start and operate the unit after the
installation of the new engine control.

Reconnect the Negative battery cable is the battery is installed.
16. Replace the end panel.

Install the label “THIS UNIT HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO USE A TWO-
WIRE START ENGINE CONTROL” just above the engine control inside the
enclosure.

Using the new operators manual, 60706-164 this unit is know ready to be
installed as a standard 2-wire start system. This Generator set will now work
with any transfer switch that provides a relay closure for a start signal.
