TRAXXAS ON-BOARD AUDIO
Your Slash Short-Course Race Truck features the On-Board Audio
System that will play realistic race engine sounds as you drive. The
sound changes with vehicle speed and throttle input. You can hear
the engine start up, revving, and even hear gears shifting in the
transmission when you speed up or slow down!
Turning on the Sound Control Module
1. Plug the blue connector from the
sound control module into the blue
connector of the sound output
modules attached to the underside of
the body.
2. Turn on the model.
3. The sound control module’s LED will
glow green.
4. Adjust the volume by pressing
the volume plus (+) or volume
minus (-) button.
Note: Press and hold the volume
minus (-) button for 3 seconds to set
the volume to the lowest setting.
5. Reinstall the body.
Driving Your Model with Sound
1. Start with the red rocker
switch in Park.
2. Tap the throttle to hear the
engine start.
3. Pull the throttle to hear
the engine rev.
4. Move the switch to drive,
pull the throttle, and leave
your friends in the dust!
Note: After 10 seconds with no throttle, you’ll hear the sound of the
engine shut down and the sound control module will automatically
stop playing sound. Tap the throttle again to reactivate the sound
control module and hear the engine start back up.
Calibrating the Sound Control Module

match your throttle input, then follow these
steps to recalibrate it.
1. Turn on the transmitter (with the throttle at
neutral).
2. Press and hold the sound control module
