INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing a Robby Gordon Dakar Truck Series
Edition Traxxas Slash. Robby Gordon is one of the world’s most
versatile drivers, with wins and top-ten finishes in desert trucks,
Indy and Champ cars (including ten Indy 500 starts), sports cars
(four consecutive class wins at the 24 Hours of Daytona) and
NASCAR®, scoring wins in the Sprint Cup® and Nationwide® series.
Gordon is most prolific as a desert racer, and is an undisputable
master having earned seven SCORE championships and three wins
each in the Baja 500 and 1000 and a top-three finish in the grueling
Dakar Rally®. Gordon’s vivid orange Speed Energy™ desert truck is
unmistakable, and Traxxas has captured its look and performance
in 1/10 scale with the Robby Gordon Dakar Truck Series Edition
Slash. The Traxxas Slash’s unbeatable durability and performance
mirrors Robby’s full-size desert machine to deliver intense, high-
flying off-road action and a driving experience like no other.
