The following guide is an overview of the procedures for getting your model running. Look for the Quick Start logo on the bottom
corners of Quick Start pages.
1. Read the safety precautions on page 4 8. Range test the radio system • See page 14
For your own safety, understand where carelessness and misuse
could lead to personal injury. Follow this procedure to make sure your radio system works properly
at a distance and that there is no interference from outside sources.
2. Charge the battery pack • See page 11 9. Detail your model • See page 5
Fully charge the battery pack included with your model. Apply other decals if desired.
3. Install the antenna • See page 12 10. Drive your model • See page 18
The receiver antenna and antenna tube must be properly installed
before operating your model. Driving tips and adjustments for your model.
4. Install batteries in the transmitter • See page 11 11. Maintaining your model • See page 25
The transmitter requires 4 AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries
(sold separately). Follow these critical steps to maintain the performance
of your model and keep it in excellent running condition.
5. Install the battery pack • See page 12
Install the included battery pack in your model.
6. Turn on the radio system • See page 13
Make a habit of turning the transmitter on first and off last.
7. Check servo operation • See page 14
Make sure the steering servo is working correctly.

Your model includes both
straight and 90-degree body
clips. The straight body
clips are intended for use
in the front body mounts.
The 90-degree body mounts
should be installed in the rear
body mounts, as shown in the
illustration below. This will
reduce body clip damage or
loss in a rollover.
