6.7 Setting High Limit: Prior to setting the High Limit Control be certain the
Main temperature Control has reached the input set point and has
remained stable for several hours. This will insure that the High Limit is
set at the proper temperature. As stated in 4.3, the High Limit control
should be at maximum position, clockwise. Now turn the thermostat
counter-clockwise using a flat-head screwdriver until the High Limit
Activated indicator light comes on. Next turn the thermostat clockwise
just until the indicator light turns off. Then turn the thermostat clockwise
two (2) minor increments on its scale past the point where the indicator
light went out. This will set the High Limit at approximately 10
C above
the Main Temperature set point.
