Using ½” or ¾” IPS, plumb the stop valve according to the
handle styles described below.
Allow 1¾” diameter hole for the valve stems.
Allow a 1¼” diameter hole for the shower arm or
personal shower elbow.
WARNING
Where tile construction is planned for the finished walls,
allow for the extra thickness dimensions when roughing
the valves.
TEST FOR PROPER FUNCTION BEFORE CLOSING WALLS!
It may be necessary to cut off the excess stem
accordingly to the frontset dimension of the handle
styles described below. (Measurement is from the tip of
the broach to the surface of finished wall).
Apply the finish trim.
