3.5 Display Dimming
The display can be adjusted for ambient light conditions by the connection to the aircraft dimmer bus.
At minimum bus voltage (or no lighting present) the display is set at maximum.
3.6 Error Codes
The PAV80 has some limited codes used for troubleshooting.
Error code =
07 - Disc read error, due to scratched or dirty disc
08 - Corrupted disc error, disc should not be used
09 - Manual eject (user was holding stop button at power on)
If the main unit displays the following codes, consult PS Engineering for further instructions.
00 - timeout for DVD communication -the DVD mechanism is not communicating and probably has
failed
20 - DVD player near upper temperature limit, usually caused by locating PAV80 too close to another
heat generating unit.
