10.3 Hydraulic Plumbing
From this point on in the installation the booms will be inoperative until the
hydraulics are fully installed.
1. After the NORAC valve is mounted, the hydraulic hoses and fittings can be plumbed. The
plumbing for the hydraulic circuit is shown schematically in Figure 3.
2. Disconnect the tilt cylinder “raise” and “lower” lines from the sprayer valve block and
route the hoses to the NORAC valve block.
3. Using the tee fitting (F06) and adapter (F03), connect the existing “lower” lines to the tank
port on the NORAC valve block. Cap the “A” ports on the sprayer valve block with a
4FJCN fitting (F04).
4. Using the tee fitting (F06) and adapter (F03), connect the existing “raise lines” to the “B
ports” on the NORAC valve block.
5. Connect two hoses (H02) from the “B ports” on the sprayer valve block to the tees (F06)
on the “B ports” of the NORAC valve block. Use adapter (F03) to connect to the tee.
6. Remove the plugs on the sprayer valve block for the pressure and tank ports. Install the
6MB-6MJ (F05) and 6MJ-6FJX90 (F02) fittings into the ports. Connect two hoses (H01) to
the 90 degree fittings (F02).
7. Connect the other end of the hoses (H01) to the pressure and tank ports on the NORAC
valve block.
