Low water
alarm/indicator
is on, but
there’s still
water in the
tank. The air intake vent is blocked. Place the humidifier on a hard,
flat surface, and make sure the
vent on the bottom of the unit
is clear of obstruction.
An odor is
coming from
the humidifier. There is a buildup of minerals
or bacteria inside the unit, or
there is leftover residue from
the manufacturing process. Clean the unit according to the
instructions above.
There is a
pink/orange
buildup in the
water tank. There is build up of common
airborne bacteria inside the
tank. Clean the tank with a
disinfectant. Clean the water
tank regularly and change
water on a daily basis to avoid
future buildup.
