POWER SUPPLY
Batteries (optional)
• Open and lift up the battery door and insert two
alkaline batteries, type AAA, R03 or UM4 as
indicated inside the compartment.
• Remove the batteries from the set if they are
exhausted or not to be used for a long time.
RADIO RECEPTION
7. Switch on the radio by turning the POWER
switch to ON.

Adjust the sound using the VOLUME control and
the DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost) switch. To obtain
the Dynamic Bass Boost, push the DBB switch
to ON.

Connect the headphones to the socket O.
4. Select the wave range using the BAND selector.
FM
S7;lf the FM stereo signal is weak and
distorted, set BAND selector to FM
position. The transmission will now be
heard in mono but the noise distortion
. will be suppressed.
FM:
The headphone lead functions as the
FM-aerial. Keep it extended and position
accordingly. When you use the
headphone winder, extend the cord to
the yellow mark.
AM:
Uses the built-in aerial. Turn the set to
find the best position.
5. Tune to the desired radio station using the
TUNING control.
6.
To switch off the radio, turn the POWER switch
to OFF.
7. To rewind the earphones push the A button on
the winder.

Hearing safety:
Do not play your headphones at a high volume.
Hearing experts advise that continuous use at a
high volume can permanently damage hearing.
Traffic safety:
Do not use headphones while driving a vehicle. It
may create a traffic hazard and it is illegal in many
countries. Even if your headphones are an open-air
type designed to let you hear outside sounds, do
not turn up the volume so high that you don't hear
what is going on around you.

Do not expose set to rain, moisture, sand or to
extreme heat from e.g. heating equipment or in
motor cars parked in the sun.
7. All redundant packaging material has been
omitted. We have done our utmost to make the
packaging easy to separate into two
monomaterials:
- cardboard (box)
- polyethylene (bags, protective foam sheet)
Please observe the local regulations regarding
the disposal of these packaging materials.

Your set consists of materials which can be
recycled and reused if disassembled by a
specialized company. Please inquire about local
regulations on how to hand in your old set for
recycling.

Do not dispose of exhausted batteries with your
household waste. Please inquire about how to
dispose of batteries according to local
regulations.

before taking the set for repair. If you are unable to
remedy a problem by following these hints, consult
your dealer or service centre.
