SUPPLY
Batteries: Insert as indicated too alkaline batteries, type R6.
UM3 or AA. Remove the batteries if exhausted or if they are not
to be used tor a long time.
Mains adapter: Connect a mains adapter to the 3VDC
socket. The adapter must supply 3 V DC ©-©-0, minuspole
© to the 1 3 mm centre pin of the 3.4 mm socket.
RADIO RECEPTION
• Set RADIO/TAPE to RADIO.
• Connect headphones to PHONES.
• Set BAND to AM (= MW), to FM (mono) or'to FM STEREO.
•
Tune to the desired radio station using TUNING. The
headphone lead vnll function as FM-aerial.
• Ad|ust the sound with VOLUME and DBB (bass).
• If BAND is in position FM STEREO, you will hear FM-stereo
programmes in stereo. The FM STEREO indicatorwill light
up then. The disturbing noise due to a weak FM-stereo signal
can be suppressed by setting BAND to FM (mono). The FM
STEREO -1^ indicator then goes out and you hear the
programme in mono.
• The set is switched off when RADIO/TAPE is in position
TAPE and no cassette player button is pressed.
PLAYING BACK CASSETTES
• Dunng playback you can reverse the tape direction using
REVERSE.
• To Stop, press STOP ■ and the set is switched off.
Fast Winding: Press FAST WIND 44 or ». To stop, press
STOP ■.
AUTO REVERSE______________________________
» The tape direction will be automatically reversed whenever
the player reaches the end of the tape. So, the cassette is
played continuously until you press STOP M (or until the
batteries are exhausted).
MAINTENANCE_______________________________
• Clean the magnetic head after every 50 hours of operation
or, on average, once a month by playing through the cleaning
cassette SBC 114.
• Do not expose the set and cassettes to rain, moisture, sand,
or to excessive heat from e.g. heating equipment or in motor
cars parked in the sun.
This set complies v/ith the radio interference requirements of the
European Community.
The type number v.ill be found atthe back ol the set and the serial number
in the battery compartment

• Set RADIO/TAPE to TAPE.
• Connect headphones to 0 PHONES.
• Open the cassette holder and insert the cassette in it with
the open part facing the buttons.
• Adjust DOLBY NR OU (Noise Reduction), ON or OFF.
• To start playback, press PLAY 4 ►.
• Adjust the sound with VOLUME and DBB (bass).
