6. OPERATION
6.1 SETTING THE MOWING HEIGHT
! Before setting the mowing height, always make sure that the lawnmower is turned off and the blade is not
moving.
CAUTION: The blade will rotate several seconds after the lawnmower is turned off. A rotating blade may
cause injuries.
The lawnmower is equipped with central mowing height adjustment with 11 possible settings: 25 mm, 30 mm,
35mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, 50 mm, 55 mm, 60 mm, 68 mm, 76 mm and 85 mm.
Select a mowing height by moving the lever to the required position. (push the lever outwards, move it to the
correct position, push inwards to secure it in place. See Fig. 2-10.
Note: Lawns made up of standard grass blends should not be mowed to a height lower than 4 cm. Lawn should
not be shortened by more than 1/3 of its height.
6.2 SETTING THE HANDLE HEIGHT
You can set the height of the handle to your needs.
Release the clamping levers (15) on both sides of the bottom part of the handle (8).
Set the required height of the handle by moving it up or down. Then secure in place again using the quick
clamping levers.
This setting method allows the handle height to be adjusted from 900 to 1050 mm in three positions.
6.3 CONNECTING TO THE POWER GRID.
Insert the plug on the power cord into the power grid (230-240 V, 50 Hz).
Check that there is a suffi cient length of power cord available.
6.4 TURNING THE LAWNMOWER ON/OFF (FIG. 2-11)
6.2.1 Turning it on:
Press and hold the safety button (4) (see Fig. 2-11), then pull the starting lever (2) to the handle. (see Fig. 2-12)
Release the safety button (4).
6.2.2 Turning it off :
Release the starting lever (2)
CAUTION: The blade will rotate several seconds after the lawnmower is turned off.
CAUTION: Do not turn the lawnmower off and on in quick succession.
