ATTENTION! Warning:
If you need to pull out the string manually, switch off the trimmer, unplug it from the socket
and wait until the string stops moving completely.
String replacement / supplementation
Turn the machine upside down.
Turn the upper cover of the string head counter-clockwise (while holding the lower part).
Remove the disengaged cover and remove the reel. Remove all remnants of the old string
from the reel.
Prepare two strings of equal length (approx. 4 m). Secure the ends of the strings into the
prepared holes. Reel up both reels clockwise and pull the ends of the strings through
openings in the reel cover. Then reattach the reel cover.
The head contains a spring - make sure the spring is in place under the reel.
8. MAINTENANCE
The trimmer string can dry out in the process of time. To keep the nylon string in a perfect
condition, store the spare pre-wound spools or loose string in a plastic bag with a spoon of
water.
clean the string trimmer, remove the battery and use a mild soap and a damp cloth only.
Do not immerse the trimmer in water, nor hose it down. Avoid any liquid to get inside the
string trimmer. Do not use pressurized water when cleaning the machine.
The line-cutting blade on the safeguard side can get blunt. Regular sharpening of the blade
with a file is recommended.
