CA series Presets contents, save and recovery
1. Introduction
The CA series devices (CA40, CA200z) can store a total of 5 presets, or global
configuration “pictures” of the device. Once they have been saved into the CA device
memory, recalling a preset is just like changing the full CA device configuration
instantaneously, with a set of parameters’ values (volumes, EQ, etc.) that match those
ones the device had when the preset was saved. By recalling presets, the end user gets
a fast and friendly way to change the working mode of the CA device, adapting it to
different application needs.
A preset can be saved by 3 different methods:
Using the front panel controls (except CA40)
Using the TP‐NET third‐party protocol, from an external device (
SAVE_PRESET
Using the EclerCOMM software application
And it can be recalled by 4 different methods:
Using the front panel controls (except CA40)
Using an external device (WPm series, for instance), connected to a 0‐10VDC
REMOTE port in the CA device
Using the TP‐NET third‐party protocol, from an external device (
LOAD_PRESET
Using the EclerCOMM software application
