These operating instructions describe two
different models of hair straightener with
accessories.

Operation
• Plug in the appliance and place on a level
surface that is insensitive to heat. Slide
button 1 must be at L (closed position).
• Turn on with switch 2: the red indicator
lamp will light up.
• Set to the desired setting with tempera
ture dial 3.
• As soon as the green indicator lamp 4
lights up, the appliance is ready for use.
Information: The temperature dial
engages slightly at setting 9 (approx.
150 °C) “care”. The hair straightner is very
hot between settings 10 and 12, so handle
very carefully.
Do not operate for more than 30 minutes.
Use
The hair straightener is suitable for long
and short hair.
• Use the appliance on towel-dry or
dry hair.
• Use only on untreated healthy hair.
• Use less frequently on chemically treated
hair (perm, colour rinse).
Information: Fine hair responds especially
quickly to the treatment.
The even heat emission is especially gentle
on the hair.
The result is smooth hairwith an intensive,
silky shine.
• Unlock both heating plates, set slide
button 1 to U.
• Comb hair and section into even strands
(about 5 cm wide).
• Starting from the roots, place a strand of
hair between the plates (Figure A).
• Press the plates together and pull down
gently and evenly towards the ends
(Figure B).
• Treat all strands in the same manner.
Allow hair to cool completely before
finishing your hairstyle.
Important: Never leave in one place longer
than 2 seconds.
