5. Wrap cord loosely around cord wrap
and set on heel.
If you have the
retractable cord fea
ture, use the reel to
wind and store the
cord as described in
the “Retractable Cord” section. Never
store iron sitting flat on the soleplate.
This will damage the inside of the
soleplate. Always store iron on its heel
in upright position.

THINGS TO CHECK
• Is (he iron plugged in and the .\utn Shutoll Reset
Button/Ijghl on? If noi, ()iess the Auto Shutoff Reset
Button/T.ight to turn the iron back on.
• If the iron is plugged in and the light does not come on,
check the cjutlet b> plugging in a lamp.
• Is the Tcmperaiure/Steam Dial turned to a fabric setting?
• If you over filled the water tank, empty some water.
• Is the Temperature/Steam Dial in the steam range and
did the iron have enough time to preheat?
• If ironing for more than one hour the auto shutoff may
have turned the iron off. Press the Auto Shutoff Reset
Button/Light to turn the iron back on.
• Is there water in the water tank?
• Is the Temperature/Steam Dial set in tlie steam range
and did the iron have enough time to preheat?
• Has the iron been cleaned with the .self
