Adjusting the Oven Temperature Control
Does your oven seem hotter or colder than you: old oven? The temperature
of your old oven may have shifted graduali'/ v/ithout you noticing the change.
Your nevy oven is properly adjusted to prov de accurate temperatures. But when
comparing to your old oven, the new design may give you different results.
If after using the oven for a penod of time, y su are not satisfied with the
temperature settings, they can be adjustec by following these steps:
1.
Pull the Oven Temperature Control
Knob straight off.
2.
Loosen the locking screw. Note
the position of the notches.
OFF
TOOTH
NOTCHES
3.
To lower the temperature, move
a notch closer to LO. Each notch
equals about10°F (5°C).
To raise the temperature, move
a notch deserto HI. Each notch
equals about10°F (5°C).
Tighten the locking screw and
replace the control knob.
