1. Press the Off/On Start button.
• The cuff will automatically pressurize and a
measurement will be taken.

The entire display will light for approximately 1 second.
The heart mark will blink when a pulse Is detected.
Changes In pressurization speed and operating
sounds are normal during pressurization.

2. When measurement has been completed, the blood
pressure value and pulse rate will be displayed.
— • Pressure will be automatically released from the cuff.
The

mark will blink. (For storing measurement
values, see page 13.)
The pulse rate value is the beats per minute calculated
based on the pulse rate during measurement.

3. Press the Off/On Start button to switch off the
power.
• The power will switch off automatically after
approximately 5 minutes.
