Release Notes
This document contains the release notes for Kofax Export Connector for FileNet Content
Manager. This export connector copies document images, OCR full text files, Kofax PDF
documents, eDocuments, and writes data from Kofax Capture into FileNet Content Manager.
Important In Kofax Capture 8 and earlier, the term “release script” was used to name the
scripts and refer to them in the product and the user documentation. In Kofax Capture 9
and later, the term “release script” was replaced with “export connector.” This version of
the product for FileNet uses “export connector” throughout the user documentation, while
the term “release script” may still appear in the user interface. Also, “Ascent Values,” the
deprecated term for Kofax Capture Values, may still appear in the user interface.
Please read these release notes carefully, as they contain information not included in the
Kofax Capture Help or other documentation.
