SPOUT AND HANDLE INSTALLATION
(Handles vary)
1 › make sure both “o” rings (6) are placed in the grooves of the
shank (these are factory installed - Do not rEmoVE).
2 › apply a thin bead of silicone to the underside of the spout and
slip spout into the deck housing fitting.
3 › Face spout in the correct position over the tub and tighten into
place using set screw (5).
4 › Screw adapter (14) into escutcheon (13). new style escutcheons
do not require adapters. apply a small bead of silicone on the
underside of the escutcheon and install on the valve bodies.
5 › Slide handle onto the valve and tighten in place using set screw
(12).
6 › remove flow straightener assembly from spout outlet. turn on
water supplies and check for leaks. run water through faucet for
sufficient time to flush debris from lines.
7 › reinstall flow straightener.
