Do not use this appliance for any other purpose other than intended
When using any electrical appliance and to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or serious
injury, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
1. Before using this appliance, please check carefully to make sure voltage (AC120V-60Hz) is
compatible with your home
2. ALWAYS place appliance on a flat, level and stable surface.
3. Turn Power/Timer Knob to OFF position and make sure Temperature dial is at lowest setting
before inserting plug in electrical outlet.
4. DO NOT let power cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch any hot surfaces.
5. DO NOT place or use the unit or any parts on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated
oven, or on stove top.
6. DO NOT use or place appliance near or on any flammable materials such as tablecloth,
curtains, towels, paper, plastic, wood or other.
7. DO NOT place your Pizza Oven directly under kitchen cabinets when operating as heat
generated by unit could damage your cabinets. Allow sufficient airflow on top of Pizza
Oven as heat escapes from top of unit and could be a fire hazard if operated in a tight
environment. CAUTION: HOT! DO NOT touch top of Pizza Oven when in use.
8. DO NOT operate this appliance on any flammable material such as a wood surface or
on any tablecloth. Do not operate this appliance on a non-heat-resistant surface as this may
damage surface. Place unit on a heat-resistant cooking surface such as tile, Formica® or any
surface protected with a heat resistant finish at least the size of the unit or larger, to be
placed underneath the appliance. CAUTION: ALWAYS protect surface underneath the
appliance from heat generated by the unit as it could cause permanent damage to surface.
9. This appliance should not be used by or near children, or persons with certain disabilities.
10. This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other
blade) as a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock and fire. This plug will fit
into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical
outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Never use the plug with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the
extension cord, making sure the electrical rating of the extension cord is at least as great
as the electrical rating of this appliance (listed on the bottom panel of the unit). Do not alter
plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
11. DO NOT operate this or any other appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any way. Send the unit to the nearest
Authorized Service Center for inspection, repair or adjustment. (ONLY qualified technicians
should repair the unit.)
12. To avoid risk of electrical shock, fire or injuries: DO NOT immerse Pizza Oven, electrical
cord or plug in water or other liquid.
