BLAUPUNKT LIMITED WARRANTY (CANADA)
SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT BELOW, Robert Bosch Inc,
(“Robert Bosch”) warrants the repiacement of Blaupunkf car radio accessories, and the repair or
replacement of Blaupunkt car radios or car radio parts, which, under normal conditions of use or
service, are found to be defective in materials and/or workmanship within twelve (12) months from
the date of installation by an authorized Blaupunkt dealer of Robert Bosch.
FOR GREATER CERTAINTY, THIS BLAUPUNKT LIMITED WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO
THE FOLLOWING LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS:
1. For purposes of this warranty, a Blaupunkt car radio accessory is a product which enhances,
or IS dependent upon, the operation of a Blaupunkt car radio but does not form an integral part
thereof and may be purchased independently of the car radio unit.
2. With the exception of labour costs incurred in connection with the removal or installation ot car
radios and accessories and related activities, defective accessories will be replaced, and car
radios or car radio parts will be repaired or replaced by a like item by an authorized Blaupunkt
warranty service depot oi authorized Blaupunkt dealer, free of labour costs related to such
replacement or repair.
3. This warranty does not apply to car radios and car radio parts and accessories supplied by
Robert Bosch to manufacturers for installation in their products as original equipment. Such
manufacturers may, in some cases, provide warranty coverage for a period different than that
provided herein.
4. This warranty is limited to Blaupunkt car radios and car radio parts and accessories installed m
a motor vehicle by an authorized Blaupunkt warranty service depot or authorized Blaupunkt
dealer and to Blaupunkt car radios and accessories in a motor vehicle, the installation of which
has been approved by an authorized Blaupunkt warranty service depot or authorized
Blaupunkt dealer,
5. Specifically excluded from this warranty are car radios and car radio parts and accessories
which have been rendered defective by misuse, negligence, modification or abuse, by
improper installation, application, operation or removal, by unauthorized service or the use of
unauthorized parts. Also excluded from this warranty are parts which are subject to
replacement due to normal wear and tear, normal maintenance to the tape portion of car
radios such as cleaning, head demagnetization, lubrication and other minor adjustments and
service required to eliminate any electro-magnetic interference,
6. A claim under this warranty can only be made by the original customer within twelve (12)
months of the date of installation of the car radio accessory, as the case may be, and is
contingent upon the presentation of the attached warranty certificate countersigned by an
authorized Blaupunkt dealer of Robert Bosch within ten (10) days of the said installation date.
7. This warranty is not transferable by the original consumer to subsequent owners, nor does it
apply to car radio replacement parts,
8. To the extent allowed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the Blaupunkt car radio or car radio
accessories are purchased, this warranty sets out the only remedies available to the original
consumer with respect to the car radio or car radio parts or accessories owned by him. This
warranty constitutes the entire agreement between Robert Bosch and the original consumer.
The only representations, oral or written, concerning the Blaupunkt car radios or car radio
parts or accessories which are binding on Robert Bosch are the written representations
contained in this warranty. Neither Robert Bosch nor its affiliated companies shall be liable for
incidental or consequential damages which may result from defective car radios or car radio
parts or accessories or from the defective installation thereof, whether or not due to the
negligence of Robert Bosch. This warranty applies only to Blaupunkt car radios and car radio
parts and accessones and does not cover any other motor vehicle parts,
9. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES AND
CONDITIONS. ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION IMPLIED BY LAW, WHETHER OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE, IS
LIMITED TO THE PERIOD THAT THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS EFFECTIVE and no
attempt to alter, modify or amend this warranty shall be effective unless authorized in writing by
an officer of Robert Bosch,
10. Some jurisdictions do not allow the imposition of limitation periods on a warranty’s duration,
nor do they condone the exclusion of incidental c' consequential damages. You may therefore
have other rights which vary between jurisdictions and you may have additional legal rights
against persons other than Robert Bosch,
11. Robert Bosch reserves the right to examine car radios and car radio parts and accessones
alleged to be defective in materials and/or workmanship to determine the nature and cause of
such defect and its decision in this regard shall be final. Robert Bosch also reserves the right
to decide between repair and replacement.
12. To obtain the benefits of warranty coverage contact the nearest authorized Blaupunkt warranty
service depot or authorized Blaupunkt dealer, information as to the location of the nearest
authorized Blaupunkt warranty service depot or authorized Blaupunkt dealer may be obtained
by contacting (Ш5) 890-1033.

remplacement des radios d’autos ou des pièces de radios d’autos Blaupunkt qui, en conditions
normales d’utilisation ou de service, deviennent défectueux quant à leur matériel et/ou a leur
fabrication dans les douze (12) mois de la date d’installation par un marchand Blaupunkt autorise de
Robert Bosch.
POUR PLUS DE CERTITUDE, LA PRÉSENTE GARANTIE LIMITEE DE BLAUPUNKT EST
SOUMISE AUX LIMITES ET CONDITIONS SUIVANTES
1. Aux fins de la présente garantie, un accessoire de radio d'auto Blaupunkt est un produit qui
rehausse le fonctionnement d'une radio d'auto Blaupunkt ou qui en depend, mais qui iVen tait
pas partie intégrante et que l’on peut acheter indépendamment de celle-ci.

A l’exception des frais de main-d'œuvre se rapportant a la depose ou a la pose des radios
d’autos et de leurs accessoires et aux activités connexes, les accessoires défectueux seront
remplacés et les radios d’autos ou leurs accessoires seront répares ou remplaces par un
article semblable par un dépôt de service Blaupunkt autorise ou un marchand Blaupunkt
autorisé, sans frais de main-d’oeuvre pour ledit reniplacement ou ladite reparation.
3 La presente garantie ne s’applique pas aux radios d’autos, aux pièces et accessoires de
radios d’autos fournis par Robert Bosch aux constructeurs pour installation dans leurs
produits comme équipements d’ongme. Lesdits fabricants peuvent, dans certains cas, fournir
une garantie pour une période différente de celle que prévoient les presentes.
4. La présente garantie est limitée aux radios d'autos, aux pieces et accessoires de radios
d’autos Blaupunkt installes dans un véhicule automobile par un dépôt de service Blaupunkt
autorise ou un marchand de radios d’autos et d'accessoires Blaupunkt autorise, dont ladite
installation a été approuvée par un dépôt de service Blaupunkt autorise ou un marchand
Blaupunkt autorisé.
5. Sont spécifiquement exclus de la presente garantie les radios d'autos et les pieces et
accessoires de radios d'autos rendus défectueux par mauvais usage, negligence, modification
ou abus, par une installation, une utilisation, un fonctionnement ou une dépose incorrect, par
un entretien non autorisé ou l'usage de pièces non autorisées. Sont également exclues de la
presente garantie les pièces à remplacer par suite d'usure normale, pour l'entretien normal a
la partie magnétophone des radios d'autos comme le nettoyage, la démagnétisation des têtes,
la lubrification ou les autres réglages et services mineurs pour éliminer l'interférence
électromagnétique,
6. Toute réclamation aux termes de la présente garantie ne peut être faite que par l'acheteur
original dans les douze (12) mois de la date de la pose de la radio d'auto ou de ses
accessoires, selon le cas, et doit être accompagnée du certificat de garantie contresigné par
un marchand Blaupunkt autorise de Robert Bosch dans les dix (10) jours de ladite date
d’installation,
7. La présente garantie n'est pas cessible par l'acheteur original aux propriétaires subséquents
et elle ne s’applique pas aux pieces de rechange de radios d’autos.
8. Dans la limite où le permet la loi de la juridiction ou la radio d'auto ou les accessoires de radios
d’autos Blaupunkt sont achetés, la présente garantie énumère les seuls recours offerts a
l'acheteur original en rapport avec la radio d'auto ou les pièces ou accessoires de radios
d’autos achetés par lui. La présente garantie constitue l’entente totale entre Robert Bosch et
l'acheteur original. Les seules représentations, verbales ou écrites, concernant les radios
d’autos ou (es pièces ou accessoires de radios d'autos Blaupunkt qui engagent Robert Bosch
sont celles que contiennent les présentes. Ni Robert Bosch ni ses compagnies affiliées ne
sont responsables des dommages incidents et indirects qui peuvent subvenir à la suite de la
défectuosité des radios d’autos ou de leurs pieces ou accessoires ou de la défectuosité de
leur pose, quelle soit ou non due à la négligence de Robert Bosch. La présente garantie
s’applique seulement aux radios d'autos et aux pièces et accessoires de radios d’autos
Bfaupunkt et ne couvre aucune autre pièce de véhicules automobiles.
9. LA PRÉSENTE GARANTIE TIENT LIEU DE TOUTES AUTRES GARANTIES ET
CONDITIONS EXPLICITES, TOUTE GARANTIE OU CONDITION DÉCOULANT DE LOI,
QUANT À LA QUALITÉ MARCHANDE OU À LA CONVENANCE À UNE FIN
PARTICULIÀRE OU TOUTE AUTRE GARANTIE OUCONDITION, SE LIMITE À LA
PÉRIODE À LAQUELLE S’ÉTEND LA PRÉSENTE GARANTIE EXPLICITE et aucune
alîération.modificiation ou changement à la présente garantie n'est valable sans I autorisation
écrite d'un responsable de Robert Bosch.
10. Certaines juridictions ne permettent pas de limiter la durée des garanties ni d'exclure les
dommages incidents ou indirects. Vous pouvez donc, selon la juridiction où vous habitez, avoir
des droits supplémentaires et posséder des recours juridiques contre des personnes autres
que Robert ^sch.
11. Robert Bosch se réserve le droit d’examiner les radios d’autos et les pièces et accessoires de
radios d’autos que l'on dit défectueuses quant à leur matériel et/ou à leur fabrication et sa
décision à ce sujet est sans appel. Robert Bosch se réserve aussi le droit de décider entre la
réparation et le remplacement.
12. Pour obtenir exécution des obligations de la garantie, communiquer avec le dépôt de service
ou le marchand Blaupunkt autorisé le plus près. On peut en obtenir le nom et l'adresse en
téléphonant à (514) 687-6311.
