good practice. Contact lenses should be worn in strict
compliance with applicable NIOSH, OSHA, and ACOEM
standards.
D. Chemical resistant clothing in accordance with OSHA stan-
dards and good practice.
6. This product(s) is designed for use in ambient atmospheres of
-26°F to 120°F (-32°C to 49°C).
7. Ensure that 3-Way Detection Paper is not wet and its original
unreacted tan color.
C. Usage Instructions
1. Tear off one sheet of 3-Way Detection Paper along perforated
edge.
2. Remove protective backing from adhesive side of paper.
3. Attach sheet to doorways, on vehicles or on the outside of
personnel’s chemical impervious protective clothing.
4. Wait approximately 30 seconds for color change after coming into
contact with liquid chemical warfare agents or when coming into
areas suspected of containing liquid chemical warfare agents.
5. Compare any change in color to the color chart listed on the
inside of the 3-Way Detection Paper booklet. The color changes
are described in Table 1:
