SlumberAir ™ Mattress System Setup Instructions
– To reduce the risk of serious injury or death:
• Do not attempt to disconnect the power plug by pulling the power cord. Always hold the
power plug and pull it out.
WARNING
4. Plug the SlumberAir TM mattress pump into the electrical outlet near your sleep sofa.
5. Unzip the two zippers in the upper right hand corner of the mattress to gain access to the
valve (F IGURE 4).
6. Check to make sure the release valve is closed and locked into place. Do this by pushing down
on the outer rim of the valve with your thumbs. Do not push on the middle of the valve and do
not push the valve to the side when closing, damage may occur.
7. Remove the protective valve cap by turning the cap counter-clockwise (F IGURE 5).
8. Align the mattress pump to the valve and connect them together. Do this by turning the pump
clockwise until the pump engages. The pump automatically starts when it is fully engaged (F IGURE 6).
9. Hold the pump in this position until the mattress is filled with air, which should take about 35 seconds.
The tone of the pump will change when the mattress is full and no more air is going into the
mattress (F
IGURE 7).
10. Disconnect the pump from the valve by turning the pump counter-clockwise (F IGURE 8).
11. Replace the protective valve cap and properly seal by turning the cap clockwise, until
locked into place (F IGURE 9).
12. Zip the two zippers in the upper right hand corner of the mattress to close the quilting.

13. Unplug the pump cord from the electrical outlet.
14. You are now ready to add bedding, or adjust the amount of air in the mattress to accommodate your
sleeping preferences.
