• When the timer is used, the clockwork mechanism makes a low clicking sound; this indicates normal
operation. In case the appliance is turned off sooner than the set timer would go off, please turn the switch
to the ‘OFF’ position. Do not ever turn the switch counter clockwise further than the ‘ON’ position, because it
may result in the breakage of the switch; the manufacturer cannot be held liable for such damage.
• Always take care to avoid straining the electric cable, never drag or lift the appliance by the power cable as
it could be torn off or damaged. For the same reason prevent the power cable from getting under the feet of
chairs or other furniture.
Warning! Never leave your home - even for a short time - with the appliance turned on (connected
to the mains)!
When the appliance is no longer in use always turn it off and then remove the electric cable from
the socket of the power supply (mains) or the extension cable.
Warning: the appliance must never be covered when it is connected to the mains, even if the
connection is switched off. Blocking the flow of air may cause overheating and a risk of fire. Never
dry any clothes or other fabrics on the appliance.
• Before connecting the appliance to the electrical network, place it on a stable, even surface. Do not use the
appliance placed on a deep-pile wall-to-wall carpet. Do not operate the appliance in wet rooms with high
relative humidity, in bathrooms and near swimming-pools.
• Place the appliance in a position that cannot be reached by pets, or in a position where pets could be exposed
to the outgoing warmed air.
• Do not try to turn the air baffle grill of the appliance by hand, because it may cause damage to the appliance.
• During the use of the appliance, keep all objects away from the guard screen of the fan blade. Never insert
any foreign objects through the screen.
• The fan can only be connected to the electrical network when fully assembled. Do not operate the appliance
when the guard screen is missing or is damaged.
• Do not use the appliance in tight spaces closed from the top (e.g. on a shelf of built-in furniture). Ensure
proper ventilation for the appliance during operation.
• Do not use the appliance near open windows, as a sudden gust of wind may cause it to overturn when
operating, in spite of its firm feet.
• Only when it is unplugged - disconnected from wall socket or extension lead - can it be moved or relocated.
Please keep this instruction manual. If you give the appliance to anyone else, you must give them
this instruction manual, too!
