Choosing the individual modes of operation

The device can be used as a ventilator that circulates air, without heat. For ventilation only, switch to the “ ”
position and turn the temperature dial clockwise to maximum. The operation light is illuminated red to indicate
that the device is turned on.

To switch off the device, switch back to the “0” position again. The operation light turns off.

To use the device as a heater, switch to the “I” or “II” position and adjust the temperature dial until the heat
output is as required.

When switched to position “I”, the heater operates at 1000W; at position “II” the heater operates at 2000W.

To switch off the heater, switch to “0” and unplug from the mains power supply. Never unplug the heater
from the mains whilst it is in operation.

Use of the room thermostat

The room temperature can be continuously controlled by setting the temperature dial.

To use the device as a heater, switch to the ‘I’ or “II” position.

Turn the temperature dial clockwise to the setting you require. The device switches on and begins heating
the room.

When the room temperature selected is reached, re-adjust the temperature dial to the setting required to
maintain this temperature. After turning the room thermostat the device temporarily switches off, although
some of its components remain in a powered state. The heating unit and ventilator fan stops, and the
operation light turns off.

When the room temperature drops below the thermostat setting, the heating resumes automatically until
the termperature selected is reached again. The heating automatically stops and starts to maintain the
temperature selected.

You can change setting of the room thermostat during use, as you wish.

The device is supplied with double protection to prevent possible over-heating and ensure security for life and
property. Should the device stop during operation for any reason other than exceeding the temperature dial’s
set point value, please switch it off, then withdraw the mains connector from the wall socket or extension.
After 30 minutes of cooling time, attempt to use it again. Meanwhile, check that the device is not covered with
anything and has not capsized. Should the device fail to operate after this outage, or it stops again, switch it off
immediately and withdraw the mains cable connector from the wall socket. Then, when the device has cooled
down, take it to an authorized professional service centre for repair.

POWER SUPPLY

The appliance must only be connected to mains electricity of 230V and 50Hz. Always ensure
the mains voltage where you’re using the appliance corresponds to the value shown on the
nameplate of the appliance.

USING OF APPLIANCE

Before use

Unpack the appliance and remove all the packing materials.

Never leave the nylon packing bag, which is part of the package, within the reach of children who could play
with it.

Inspect the appliance and the accessories carefully to verify their soundness and undamaged condition. Only
perfectly sound and damage-free appliances may be connected to the electrical mains.

Before using the heater each time, make sure it is in good condition, e.g. the casing has no cracks. Place the
heater on a horizontal, stable surface on top of the heat resistant plate. Ensure that there is no flammable
material close to the heater’s air outlet and inlet openings, and that there are no objects, furniture or wall
surfaces within the prescribed safety distance. Always observe the stipulations of section “Important safety
information” when placing the heater, to avoid the risk of fire and accidents.

After setting up the appliance in a safe place, plug the mains cable into the wall socket (or an appropriate
extension socket).
