► Do not put heavy things on the scales when not in use.
► Do not store the scales in an upright position.
► Please remove the battery when the scales are not used for a longer period or when

shipping the device.

► If the scales do not respond when started, please check the battery and ensure the

battery is new and inserted correctly.

► Please do not jump or stamp on the scale and avoid dropping it, as the scales are a

high precision electronic device.

► Do not use it on a wet and slippery floor; do not stand on at the edge of scales to avoid

falling.

► This scale is for family use only, not suitable as medical equipment, we do not advise to

use it as medical equipment.

► Disabled and old persons are advised to use the scale with assistance.

3 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The scale switches off after a few seconds.

Check the batteries for correct polarity and if they are new.

Ensure that your foot has a good contact with the metal surface.

Is something wrong when "-" appears on the display?

The scale will automatically auto-zero. Please wait a few seconds until "0" appears on the
display.

In the scale a parameter has been stored. Please enter your data in the scale.

The scale only shows the weight. Body fat percentage hasn't been found?

The measurement of the body fat percentage can be disturbed by not standing still on the
scale. Please stand still and upright and ensure that your feet are bare and in good contact
with the metal surface of the scale.

The body fat percentage is much higher than normal?

Please check the data programmed in the scale in respect of sex, size and age.

Ensure that you step on the scale with bare, clean and dry feet so that your feet are in
good contact with the metal surface.

Excessive water loss, stress or horny skin of the foot can influence the measurement of
the body fat percentage.
