BLADE REPLACEMENT (Continued)
iV WARNING: Blades are sharp. When manually
sliding blade assembly, do not place your hand
or fingers between blades or in any position
where they could get pinched or cut.
■ Replace blade screws. Tighten screws securely.
■ Replace blade cover screw. See Figure 16.
Note: Do not tighten until blade cover has been
replaced.
BLADE COVER
Replace blade cover. Place rear tab inside hous­
ing, align front tabs with slots in housing, then slide
blade cover back into its correct position.

Tighten blade cover screw securely.
A, WARNING: Make sure blade cover Is replaced
before connecting your hedge trimmer to power
supply. Failure to do so will expose Internal parts
which could cause an accident or electrical
shock resulting in serious injury.
Note: If binding occurs after replacing blade
assembly, repeat the steps above for reassembly.
