Jeppesen Text Viewer Installation


In order to use the Jeppesen Text Viewer, you need to be a general aviation or business aviation
customer, have a current terminal chart IFR or VFR paper subscription, and have a Jeppesen
username and password. If you do not have a Jeppesen username and password associated to
your account, please call a Jeppesen Customer Service Representative using one of the

Before installing the Jeppesen Text Viewer, ensure that you have administrative privileges and
Internet Explorer on your computer.

Download and Installation Instruction

1.

Click Download.

2.

When the File Download dialog box appears, click Run to start the installation process or click

Save to save the installer to your hard drive. If you saved the installer to your hard drive,
navigate to the destination directory where the installer executable is located and double-
click JeppesenTextViewerSetup.exe.

3.

Click Next when the Welcome screen appears.

4.

Read the license agreement and accept the terms, and then click Next.

5.

Select the path in which to install the Text Viewer and click Next.

6.

Select the following options in the Installation Options window, and then click Next:

Add Desktop shortcut: Select this option if you want the Jeppesen Text Viewer icon
placed on the desktop.

Install Jeppesen Print Driver: Select this option if you will be printing on Jeppesen paper.
The driver formats the printed area for the following preferences and paper:

Kneeboard—Prints with standard margins, designed for use with chart
clipboards.
