Quick Operation Guide

INTRODUCTION

The PS1 is a personal safety device that

warns when toxic gas or oxygen exceeds

alarm set-points. It is the responsibility of

the user to respond properly to the alarms.

how to operate your PS1 and use its key

GAS TYPES

There are four PS1 gas models available:
1. Hydrogen Sulphide (H

2

S)

2. Oxygen (O

2

)

3. Carbon Monoxide (CO)
4. Sulphur Dioxide (SO

2

)

SWITCHING ON / OFF

Before switching on, check the PS1 is

clean and in good condition.
To switch ON, press and hold for 1
second, in fresh air. The PS1 will begin its

warm up sequence.
During the warm up sequence, a sensor

check and auto zero are undertaken.

When PPM or % reading appears, the
instrument is ready to use.

To switch OFF press and hold both and

simultaneously for 3 seconds.
