Work Piece and Work Area Set Up
1. Designate a work area that is clean and well-lit.
The work area must not allow access by children
or pets to prevent distraction and injury.
2. Secure loose work pieces using a vise or clamps
(not included) to prevent movement while working.
3. There must not be objects, such as utility lines,
nearby that will present a hazard while working.
General Operating Instructions
1. Slide the Direction Switch (which should initially
be centered in the “lock” position) to the right for
forward drilling/fastening, or to the left for reversing
the operation. Use the “reverse” setting only to
remove screws or to release jammed drill bit.
2. The LED Work Light can be activated before the
Driver runs by pressing the Trigger lightly. Then
press the Trigger harder to activate the Impact Driver.
3. The Impact Driver has variable speed. To increase
speed, apply more pressure to Trigger. To
decrease speed, lessen pressure on Trigger.
4. When finished using the Impact Driver, release
the Trigger and center the Direction Switch to lock
the trigger mechanism as a safety measure.
5. Remove the Battery Pack.
6. Clean then store the Impact Driver
indoors and out of children’s reach.
