A.

Route fuel line to the suction port on the FASS pump labeled
“T”. Cut the fuel line. Insert PL-1005 into fuel line using oil. At-
tach to 10-300 in ‘T’ port. Torque to 18 ft./lbs.

C.

Insert PL-1005 into fuel line. Attach to 10-300 located in the
port labeled “E”. Use oil. Torque to 18 ft./lbs. Route this line to
the inlet port of the factory filter housing.

Install in-line fuel filter in an accessible location in the suction
line using the HC-1001’s. Make sure the fuel flows in the direc-
tion of the arrow on the canister.

D.

Measure and cut fuel line. Insert PL-2003 90° Push-Lok fitting us-
ing oil.

E.

Disconnect factory fuel pump from the side of the factory fuel fil-
ter. Assemble the DIPF-1003 into the inlet side of fuel filter.
Torque to 18ft/lbs.

F.

Connect the PL-2003 to the DIPF-1003. Torque to 18ft/lbs.

Do Not use sealant on AN (male flare) fittings. Only use sealant on threads installed into pump assembly.

Note: Secure all fuel lines with cable ties. Cable ties are an eco-

nomical way to prevent the possibility of problems occurring!

Note: Inline filter will need to be replaced every 6,000 miles.
