Adjusting & Checking Accuracy
1. Quickly check for accuracy by hooking the spring-loaded line underneath the wheels
as shown in Figure 1.
2. To set the indicator wheel exactly on the line, loosen the wing nut at point “A” and
turn screw “A” upward until the wheel is right on the line. With the wheel in this
position, the indicator needle should read zero. If it does not, release lock nut “B”
and turn rod at “C” up or down until a zero reading is obtained. Then tighten nut
“B” and back off or lower screw “A” until the arm rests on lower stop “D”.

3. The Hi-Low Detector can be quickly checked for accuracy without using the
storage and transport frame by lowering the front and rear wheel guides. This
raises the wheels off of the ground so that the spring-loaded line can be stretched
underneath.
