1. At framing and rough-in stage, frame opening in the wall to allow for installation of the recessed
headwall. Refer to shop drawings for your particular headwall dimensions. Framing should provide
plenty of support for the weight of the headwall, including any accessories that may be mounted on
the headwall during use.
2. Review a copy of the final approved shop drawing(s) and/or submittal package. These documents will
provide you with technical information specific to your installation, such as:
• equipment types and quantities
• room numbers and locations
• shop drawings of each unit type
• wiring diagrams and rough-in locations
3. Locate the headwall unit from the shipping boxes that you wish to install. The contents of each shipping
box are listed on the shipping document(s).
