IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION: The LS 4.0 Lithium Series Triggers are designed to operate with a
single Li-Ion 14500 3.7V rechargeable battery ONLY. Using any other type of battery may cause damage
to the charging system (PRO Models) and the battery itself.
In accordance with postal regulations regarding the shipment of Li-Ion batteries, your AEO LS 4.0 Trigger
is shipped with a partially depleted rechargeable Li-Ion 14500 battery. Before using your device, ensure
the battery has been completely charged. Once charged, the device is designed to operate for over 180
hours continuously on a single charge.
The LS Micro 4.0 does NOT include a built-in recharge system (Pro-Models only). You will need to charge
the Li-Ion 14500 battery using an external charger (not included, but readily available from most
electronics resellers).
INSTALLING NEW BATTERY: The Li-Ion 14500 battery is accessible via a slide out battery compartment
cover on the bottom of the device as shown below:
Take note of the polarity of the battery, and ensure that the replacement battery is inserted correctly.
IF the battery is inserted incorrectly, protection circuitry will ensure no damage occurs, however, your
device will not operate.
The 900mAH Li-Ion battery included with your trigger will last over 180 hours on a single charge. Higher
capacity 14500 batteries will last proportionally longer.
