Weigh metered seed. Subtract initial weight
of container. Divide by three. Multiply by the
number of openers on your drill to deter-
mine the total pounds per acre. If this figure
is different than desired, change sprocket
combinations, using the native grass seed
chart for reference.
Note: For two section drills, repeat procedures (a)
through (j) on each drill section.
4.
You may want to repeat the calibration proce-
dure if your results vary greatly from the seed
rate chart.
The attached charts are to be used as a refer-
ence to your own native grass mix. All native
grass mixes will vary so this is why you must
calibrate each mix using our charts as a starting
point only.
Note: When drilling, check the amount of seed you
are using by noting acres drilled, amount of seed
added to drill, and level of seed in drill box. If you
suspect that you are drilling more or less than de-
sired, and you have accurately calibrated the drill to
your seed, you may need to adjust the seeding rate
slightly to compensate for your field conditions.
Standard Rod Agitator
The native grass attachment comes standard with
the agitator shown.
I
MPORTANT:
To prevent damage to the Na-
tive Grass box agitator and its drive compo-
nents, do not transport drill with Native Grass
box loaded with seed.

IMPORTANT! For Native Grass Mix Only
Powdered graphite must be mixed with
the native grass seed mix for proper
seed flow and metering.
Recommended usage:
Sprinkle 1/3 cup of graphite per 6 ft. of
seed box on top of the native grass seed
mix.
For humid planting environments, dou-
ble or triple rate as needed.
