Problem Solution
Uneven metering Check for plugging in metering cup.
Check to see if seed tubes are plugged.
Reduce ground speed.
Check for lumps or trash in the material. Screen these out if needed.
Check all drive chains, sprockets, keys and pins.
The agitator will not guarantee perfect seeding of trashy, wet or sticky material.
Actual metering rate is different than
desired Check tire pressure. Proper inflation is listed in the “Tire Inflation Chart", Section
2, page 4.
Check gauge wheel size. Proper size is 11L x 15".
Seed box not emptying evenly Some sections of the box have more metering cups causing that section to run out
first.
